Hello. . .
I truly believe that food and the act of preparing it, feeds the soul as well as the body! Having grown up with parents who worked in the restaurant business, it seemed only natural that I would want to continue in that line of work as an adult. I, however, chose a different career path. But the seeds were sown and I was eventually drawn back to "getting serious about cooking good food".
I studied, cooked and tasted foods for many years until one day I decided that I could perhaps develop some spice blends of my own. That was the birth of "Howling Helga's Mixes and Dressings" (but that is another story). With that under my belt, the tug of "teaching and training" again became too strong. That was the birth of "Come Cook With Me".
That is my journey in a nutshell. "Come Cook With Me" focuses on providing practical culinary instruction with an added dose of fun and camaraderie -- we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.
With a variety of class offerings to choose from, I'm confident you will find at least one title that sparkes your interest (or even two or three)! Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.
